Typically 1–2 full days, sometimes more for complex cars or if paint correction is required first. We never rush a coating — the prep work is everything. We'll give you a realistic timescale when you enquire.
Every job is different — paint condition, car size, and the level of work required all affect the price. We don't publish fixed prices because a quote based on your car is always more accurate and fairer. All quotes are free, with no obligation.
Yes — our Aromatek odour elimination machine permanently removes bad smells at a molecular level, not just masks them. Whether it's mould from a car that's been sitting, cigarette smoke, or pets, we can sort it.
Simple maintenance washes — no automatic car washes, no harsh chemicals. We'll walk you through a proper aftercare routine when we return the car, and we stock the right products in our shop if you want to keep it in top condition yourself.

We accept card payments, bank transfer, and 0% interest-free finance via Payment Assist for larger jobs — so you can spread the cost without paying more.

Please read these terms before booking. By placing an enquiry or booking with AMVD, you agree to the following.
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from AM Valeting & Detailing. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. A deposit may be required to secure your slot for larger or multi-day jobs — this will be communicated at the time of booking.
You must disclose any known pre-existing damage, modifications, or paintwork issues before work commences. AMVD accepts no liability for defects that were present prior to the appointment. We recommend photographing your vehicle before drop-off. By handing over your vehicle, you confirm the condition disclosed is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Where collection and delivery is offered, it is fully insured. However, you are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legally roadworthy (valid MOT, road tax, and insurance) at the time of collection. AMVD reserves the right to refuse collection of any vehicle deemed unroadworthy. Collection times are estimated and may vary — we will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays.
Quoted prices are based on vehicles in standard condition. If your vehicle is found to have heavy soiling, mould, pet hair, vomit, blood, or any biohazardous material beyond what was disclosed, additional charges will apply. We will always notify you and agree any additional costs before proceeding. No extra work will be carried out without your approval.
Ceramic coating results are dependent on the paintwork condition at the time of application. We cannot guarantee identical results across vehicles with different paint conditions or previous repairs. Following application, you will be provided with an aftercare guide — failure to follow these instructions may void any warranty on the coating. AMVD accepts no liability for damage caused by improper aftercare.
Full payment is due upon completion of work before the vehicle is returned, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept card payments, bank transfer, and interest-free finance via Payment Assist (subject to eligibility). In the event of non-payment, AMVD reserves the right to retain the vehicle until the outstanding balance is settled. Interest may be applied to overdue invoices.
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in future bookings being declined or a non-refundable deposit being required upfront.
Whilst every care is taken, AMVD's liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for any consequential loss, loss of earnings, or loss of use of your vehicle. Our work is fully insured — if you believe any damage has occurred during our care, this must be reported before the vehicle leaves our premises or collection point. Claims raised after the vehicle has been returned cannot be accepted.
AMVD may photograph or film your vehicle before, during, and after the detailing process for quality control, portfolio, and marketing purposes (including social media). No identifying information such as registration plates will be published without your consent. If you do not wish your vehicle to be photographed, please inform us at the time of booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. AMVD reserves the right to update these terms at any time — the current version will always be published on this website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
